Japa Meditation

10 Minute Practice

Welcome to this sacred So Hum Japa meditation. “So Hum” is a Sanskrit mantra that translates to I am That—a powerful affirmation of oneness with all of existence. As you repeat this mantra with each breath, you attune to the truth of your essence and dissolve the boundaries between self and Source.

To begin, find a quiet, comfortable space. Sit with your spine tall, shoulders relaxed, and heart open—inhale “So,” exhale “Hum.”

We recommend using headphones for a more immersive experience. You may also wish to keep a notebook or journal nearby to reflect afterward.

Reflection Questions:
  • What sensations or shifts did you notice in your body, breath, or awareness?
  • Did any thoughts or emotions arise and move through you?
  • How did the repetition of So Hum affect your inner stillness?
  • What did this practice awaken or remind you of?

Let this be more than repetition—let it be a devotion. Each breath, each So Hum, is a step closer to your deepest self.
